You are not the problem...
Many of my eating disorder clients find themselves in a similar dilemma—they may have tried dieting or weight-loss injections, maybe even had some success, but they start to gain weight or experience intense urges to eat that they struggle to control. I often hear stories of how successful, intelligent and competent women have moments of losing control around food. They are left feeling like a failure and feeling ashamed of themselves. They double down on their dieting efforts and swear it will never happen again, only to find themselves in the same situation, over and over again.
The dieting-binge cycle is a familiar one, and I know that there are many people out there who aren't able to access specialist eating disorder treatment or maybe feel too ashamed to speak out. I also know of many people who have been turned away from NHS services because they are not deemed severe enough.
The Solution:
Introducing my exclusive guide, "The Urge Surfing Toolkit". I've compiled a compact but comprehensive PDF guide that will provide you with practical suggestions for how to ride out those urges to binge-eat.
This isn't about shaming or using willpower.
No more wasted time or money on faddy diets. This resource will empower you to spend less time beating yourself up and more time taking strategic actions for your health and wellbeing.

Meet - Sarah Jarvis
Sarah is a lifelong student of Psychology, having spent almost a decade pursuing qualifications and accreditations that ground her work in evidence-based practice. She continues to stay immersed in the latest academic research, bringing this depth of understanding into every aspect of her mental health work.
Since beginning her career in 2008, Sarah has supported hundreds of people through their most difficult moments. She has worked within the NHS and now runs her own private practice, where she specialises in delivering Cognitive Behaviour Therapy in a way that is both effective and deeply human. Her particular expertise lies in treating eating disorders — serious, often life‑threatening illnesses that too many people struggle to access appropriate care for. Sarah is known for going where many therapists hesitate; she believes that facing an eating disorder requires bravery, compassion, and a willingness to meet the illness head‑on.
Sarah is also late‑diagnosed ADHD and understands, from lived experience, what it feels like to be overwhelmed, stuck in self‑doubt, or caught between feeling “too much” and “not enough.” A turning point in her own journey came with discovering mindfulness — the quiet, transformative practice of being awake to the present moment. Through this, she learned that self‑acceptance isn’t a sudden revelation but something that grows slowly, in moments of stillness and honesty.
She is passionate about helping women overcome self‑doubt, perfectionism, and emotional overwhelm. Her therapeutic approach blends acceptance, mindful awareness, and committed action to help people unlock their potential and reclaim their lives.
